Hello all I have registerd as Tigger - as this was my late rather noisy yellow labrador some of you may remember.
My name is Lynda, and I now share my home with Tess (10ish rescue yellow labrador) Jaja (age 8 tomorrow, rescue lurcher) and Alfie (age 3 wayward rescue black labrador, sometimes known as Asbo Alfie).
Gone to the bridge in 2010 were Tigger, and my beloved Greyhounds Zola and Dave.
I first met Darcy as a puppy back in 2002 not long after she had joined her family, she was probably the size of my Jaja then.
I live in Southport in the North West of England with husband Steve.
Nice to be here and look forward to the auction.
Lynda x

I'm Judy, married 36 years (Yikes! How did that happen?) from Peterborough, East Midlands, UK. Two boys - all grown up and left home. Checking in with tripod Sid, a retired racing greyhound who broke his hock very badly at the track, had his leg amputated, was adopted out and bounced, and who was living quite happily in his trainer's house with five or six other 'crocks' when I 'rescued' him. LOL! Sid is our fifth greyhound. I'm not allowed any more right now but have persuaded my DH to let me foster if the right dog comes along (old, broken, or special, if it's up to me). Met Darcy on Greytalk, and Darcy's Mum at the Great Greyhound Gathering.

Hello!
I'm Dominique and I live with my three dogs, a lurcher, a patterdale terrier and a staffi x lab?, a cat, chickens, pond fish and a bearded dragon down here in Kent.
I know Darcy's Mum through her involvement with Greyhound Gap and avidly followed Darcy's story whilst also dealing with my own dogs osteo at almost the same time. Darcy is an inspiration to us all and I'm proud to help Darcy raise funds to help more dogs conquer this awful disease.

Hi - I'm Val and I live in North Lancashire, UK. I live with my OH and my two rescue Border collies, Beau and Flash (well, Beau has a touch of the sighthound about him, but is mostly BC). I'm not working at the moment, as I was made redundant a year ago. Thankfully, my OH still has a job! Sad to say, I've never met the gorgeous Darcy other than 'virtually'. I have met her mum, just once in person but would love to meet the whole canine / ooman combo sometime

I'm Denise and I live in Edinburgh with Ellie who is Darcy's litter sister so also nine on Wednesday. Although I had seen Darcy as a young pup when we went to Kay's to pick Ellie up, I didn't know anything else about her until Bev posted to Deerhound-L about Darcy's osteosarcoma. We have been in touch since then and came to Darcy's 2009 Party in the Park. Attachments:

Hi my name is Alison and I am from North Yorkshire.
We have one extra-large flatcoated retriever called Murphy, who is 4. He loves swimming, smelly things to roll in, dead rabbits, and playing. He is very funny and always puts a smile on your face with some silly antic.
We also have two black cats, Franco and Luca. They are old boys now and like eating, sleeping and sunbathing.
I came to know about Darcy through Dom, and have been very interested to read her inspiring story.

Hi, I'm Maryann, and I live in New Jersey with Bama and Stephanie, who are greyhounds, and Henderson, a cardigan welsh corgi.
I read about Darcy's web party on GreyTalk - hope it's a big success and raises lots of money for the fight against osteosarcoma!

Hellooo. I'm Cath. I know Darcy from reading about her on Dogpages. I've yet to meet my first deerhound, and I'd love it to be Darcy. I'm owned by three greyhounds, Kizzy, age 2, Davey, nearly 3, and Cyril, 6. Cyril was a champion racer in Sunderland, Kiz and Davey both rejected as racers. They all now enjoy having me as chef, cleaner and personal trainer I also recently rescued little Jess, a lurcher, about 6 months old now. She's a bit...unique... in her behaviour, and may have been comparing notes with Darcy's little sis, Grace. I love them all to bits. We have been doing all our shopping using our new Darcy bags, which are very smart and posh and good for carrying boxes of bonios and chewies, and other important things (mostly biscuits) When not walking dogs, I'm a music teacher - sometimes in schools, but mostly teaching clarinet, piano and voice at home.
