Hi all I met Darcy through her wonderful owners, they use the vets that I work for to get Darcy the much needed treatment love and attention she needs and deserves, I also pet sit for Darcy and the other dogs when Bev and Mark are busy fundraising, or selling thier wonderful merchandise, I get mobbed when I go to the house but it makes me feel needed, when I have got all the other pooches out into the garden I have a nice quiet 5 mins with Darcy, who loves a fuss and cuddles then I help her up off the bed and we join the others who at this point are usually tearing around the garden, All the dogs have thier own personalitys and all are very friendly, especially Ned, hes the biggest mugger lol ;D

I first saw Darcy in a picture Bev posted on DP . I fell inlove instantly , she is just adorable . She is such a brave and remarkable girl and Bev and Mark are amazing with all the devotion they show to not only thier own dogs but others that they help along the way

I met Darcy's family through DP many years ago now. When Darcy was diagnosed with this horrid disease I was shocked, then just weeks later I found myself diagnosed with cancer too so she and I went through our treatment together. She was and is such an inspiration. xx

I first met Darcy through DP, then I met her in person at her Party in the Park two years ago, I went to live up the hill from her two and a half years ago and got to meet her more often. I was most honoured when she greeted me by putting her front paw on my shoulder, I was standing up at the time

I first "met" Darcy on dp ages ago. Then I met her in real life at Moses gate country park on an RSPCA fun dog show. She is beautiful. Carolexxxxxxxxxx

I can't even imagine the thrill of really truly actually meeting Darcy in person. Would that be in-the-fur? I'd have to learn to curtsey!

Patry LOL You'd be mega disappointed if she did what she usually does when people come to the house More often than not, she lays on her bed if we have a big crowd and she pretends that she is rendered useless by the loss of her leg and could people please just bring her a sausage and then go away and leave her to sleep ;D

I first met Darcy through DP, then when I realised I lived not to far away I met up with her mum and dad. We've since become very good friends and I often visit The Doyle Residence and get lots of doggy cuddles. Though as Bev says, you have to get down to Darcy's level as she expects you to go to her

I originally 'met' Darcy through DP and then finally met her in the flesh two years ago at her Party in the Park ;D Have met her a couple of times since then and will be seeing a bit more of her (and the other Doyle dogs) in the near future and can't wait ;D

I'm assuming there's a nicely padded kneeler in front of Darcy's bed for the comfort of her (arthritic) adoring public?

I went aaaaalllll the way across the pond to meet Darcy! I'd known her for years on GreyTalk (she's allowed on there 'cause she's DARCY!! Just kidding - everyone's allowed!). Then when I was going to England & we were going to be about an hour from the Doyle residence, I asked if we could come meet ALL the Doyle dogs (but Darcy has always been my love!)
I just came across pix from that first visit (there's been one since) and it was the November before Darcy had her amp!
Lubs you Darcy! (And ALL the other Doyle doggies, too many of whom I met having gone to the bridge...)
