My two old bridge girlies: Bessie Bunter. Lab/GSD x? Funniest ears you ever saw! Also the most fantastic character that had us laughing all the time Lost her at aged almost 15 in August 2003 to a tumour on the spleen Candy Floss. Border Collie with a little bit of lab thrown in. Best girl in the world: Lost her at aged almost 18, just before Christmas 2006:

in memory of my Callumbear, Callum had such a cruel start in life & suffered fro pain & health problems all his short life, but despite this he was the happiest most loving boy you could ever meet. he acheived so much in his short life, he was a PAT dog & came to work with me to teach students how to care for animals, they learnt how to bandage, bath, handle & health check using my wonderful patient boy. he changed so many peoples perceptions of rottweilers, showing what a gentle freindly breed they can be. he gave blood, saving other dogs lives & helped me with caring for & socialising foster dogs & cats, he was a wonderful role model for his younger brother & sister & a great freind to me. he enjoyed life to the full, playing with his freinds & doing flyball, agility & obedience. i will miss him every day, but am so grateful that this beautiful angel spent his time on earth here with me. run free Callum Bear xxx

Thanks for adding this forum, Darcy's Mum! I think with each dog lost it gets worse, for me. I don't know why. The beautiful James - left behind by travellers, half bald with active mange, scarred, chronically anxious, and extremely thin with broken teeth. He became the BEST dog - intelligent, eager to please and my most beloved companion. Susan - poor extremely-high-prey-drive Susan, who already had kidney cancer when we took her on as a bounced ex-breeding bitch at nearly ten years old. Only had her five and a half months but she learned so much in that time. Bless her. My lovely Renie, my first PAT therapy dog. So beautiful, patient, gentle and all-round good dog. And lazy? I think the word was invented for her! Ideal for the deaf-blind people she visited every week. She'd just lie down and go to sleep with them. They loooved her. And yes, she has fallen asleep in the middle of playing with her goose! And my sweet, adorable, messy little Captain Jack. Like his namesake, a charming mixture of cowardice and opportunism. Endlessly curious, and fearless in some things, he'd scream and jump into the air with fright if anyone touched him without him seeing them coming. Such a character, and he loved his yellow toys. I miss each and every one of them.

Eva my ex puppy farm girl who left us in June 2010. I`m sure Eva is waving to you Darcy as she made the last 2 Birthday parties and I know she enjoyed them lots. So sorry she isn`t here for you this year. We miss her lots and she will always be remembered for a happy smiley face and waggy tail. Not to mention eating all the sausages at Darcy`s parties.
